Made in collaboration with The Glass Witch, this skull and rose glass round pairs two familiar symbols in a restrained, illustrative style. Printed on quality art glass and wrapped in a lead came border, the piece shifts depending on the light—sharp lines when backlit, softer tones when viewed straight on.
Each 3.75 inch piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. The glass is wrapped in lead came, then soldered together with 60/40 solder. The lead and solder is darkened with patina then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine and ready to hang.
Every stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
