“No” Script Glass Round – Lettering on Glass

Made in collaboration with The Glass Witch, this is my hand-drawn script spelling out “No,” printed on art glass and finished with a lead came border so it feels official.

It’s 3.75 inches across and works best in a window, office, or anywhere you’d like a visual aid for conversations you’re tired of having. The glass catches light nicely, which is funny considering the message.

Short word. Long usefulness.

Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. The glass is wrapped in lead came, then soldered together with 60/40 solder. The lead and solder is darkened with patina then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine and ready to hang.

Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
